Terms and Conditions

Cancellation policy: 

  • Pre-paid bookings will be refunded in maximum 10 working days from the moment of cancellation. 
  • If a booking is cancelled more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled pick-up time, there will be a full refund.
  • If a booking is cancelled less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled pick-up time, there will be a cancellation fee applied which is 100% of the journey price.

 

Delays & No-show 

Clients are required to be present at the agreed pick-up location on time.

  • For arrival transfers( from port/airport) a waiting time of up to 30 minutes is included.

For departure transfers, point to point transfers a waiting time of up to 10 minutes is included. After this period, the service may be considered a no-show and fully charged.

  • Additional waiting time may incur extra charges.
  • For airport/port pickups, we monitor arrival times; however, clients must inform us of any major delays.
  • Clients who fail to appear at the scheduled time of the tour (no-show) are not entitled to any refund. 

 

Changes by the Company

KD Tours Santorini reserves the right to modify or cancel services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Weather conditions
  • Traffic or road restrictions
  • Strikes or government regulations
  • Force majeure events

In such cases, alternative arrangements or rescheduling will be offered where possible.

 

Liability Disclaimer

KD Tours Santorini shall not be held liable for:

  • Delays caused by traffic, weather, or third parties
  • Missed flights, ferries, or appointments
  • Loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings
  • Injuries or damages resulting from client negligence

Clients are responsible for their personal belongings at all times.

 

Client Conduct

Clients are expected to behave respectfully towards drivers, guides, and property.

KD Tours Santorini reserves the right to refuse or terminate service without refund in cases of:

  • Intoxication
  • Aggressive or inappropriate behavior
  • Damage to vehicles or equipment

 

Safety & Insurance

All vehicles are fully licensed and insured according to Greek law.

Passengers must comply with all safety regulations, including the use of seat belts at all times.

 

Tours – Specific Conditions

  • Tour itineraries may vary depending on weather, traffic, or operational conditions.
  • KD Tours Santorini reserves the right to adjust routes or stops when necessary.
  • Any inclusions/exclusions will be clearly stated at the time of booking.
  • In cases where pick-up is not possible directly outside the hotel, the exact pick-up point will be arranged in coordination with the client .

 

Transfers – Specific Conditions

  • Clients must provide accurate pick-up details (location, time, flight number or vessel’s name  where applicable).
  • Incorrect or incomplete information may result in service disruption without refund.
  • Extra charges may apply for additional stops, waiting time, or special requests.
  • In cases where pick-up is not possible directly outside the hotel, the exact pick-up point will be arranged in coordination with the client .

 

Personal Data 

We collect and process personal data solely for the purpose of providing our services.

KD Tours Santorini does not share personal information with third parties unless required by law or necessary for service fulfillment.

 

Acceptance of Terms

Data We Collect

Online reservation procedure

Guests of third party websites are asked to give personal data in order to complete their online reservations. The data they are asked to give are upon the administrator – controller of the system.

Data given automatically

There are many instances that we get data automatically. Such data are: IP address, type of device, location, date and time of accessing our system, pages that are visited and clicked, from which website someone came to our system, browser that is used, software that is used in the device or computer.

Data given from other sources

Our booking engines are integrated with other websites (online wholesalers, Online Travel Agents, etc) who are giving data about completed reservations. The data are used from controllers (administrators) for managing purposes.

Data we share with others

We share the above personal data with third party systems for basic purposes of completing an online reservation. For example, we use a third party mail provider for security reasons (to avoid emails going to spam). Our systems are cloud and we use hosting services of Amazon.com (https://aws.amazon.com/security/) . In addition in some instances we share data with third party systems for managing or accounting purposes of the controller (administrator). Also we share data with banks and online payment gateways for successful secure transactions.
